Jackson Co., MI (December 13, 2023) – A collision reported in Jackson County sent an unknown number of people with injuries to area hospitals. The Michigan State police, firefighters, and emergency medical services were all summoned to the scene of the accident at approximately 8:00 p.m. on December 12.
According to reports provided by local law enforcement, a collision between vehicles blocked multiple eastbound and westbound lanes of Michigan 50, Brooklyn Road. The incident caused disruptions in traffic that extended between South Street and Breda Drive as emergency crews worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene of the collision. At least one person was injured in the accident. Emergency medical services responded to the site of the collision to provide care to the injured victims. Those who required further medical care were transported to local hospitals. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
