Hazel Park, MI - Accident with Injuries on I-75 at 9 Mile Rd

Hazel Park, MI (December 11, 2023) – The Michigan State Police responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in Hazel Park and ended in injuries. The crash was reported to law enforcement just before 11:00 p.m. on December 9.

Reports provided by MSP indicate that vehicles collided on the southbound side of Interstate 75. The incident blocked multiple lanes near 9 Mile Road. Emergency crews blocked off the roadway as they provided assistance with clearing the scene. At least one person was injured in the accident and had to be transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care. The state police are currently investigating to determine what caused this accident to occur.
