Woodstock Twp., MI (December 10, 2023) – Troopers with the Michigan State Police responded to the scene of an automobile accident in Lenawee County that resulted in injuries. The automobile collision was reported at around 4:40 p.m. on December 7.
According to reports provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation out of Lansing, a vehicle collision blocked both the north and southbound sides of US Highway 223. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway between Round Lake Highway and Onsted Highway as they provided assistance with clearing the road. Medics treated injured victims on-site before transporting them to local hospitals. At this time, the state police are investigating to determine what caused the accident to occur.
