Rome Twp., MI (December 8, 2023) – Emergency officials were summoned to provide assistance at the scene of a vehicle collision that took place on Thursday evening and ended in injuries. The Michigan State Police, area firefighters, and emergency medical services technicians were called to the scene of the crash at around 6:15 p.m. on December 7.
Crash investigations indicate the vehicles collided on Michigan 233 in the area near Rome Road. The incident blocks several lanes of the road, causing disruptions throughout the area. A truck and a second vehicle were located at the scene. At least one of the involved vehicles struck a utility pole. Emergency medical service personnel provided care to injured victims before transporting them to area hospitals. At this time, the state police are investigating the incident.
