Saginaw, MI (November 28, 2023) - Dog attacks in Saginaw leave two people injured, one dog deceased, and animal control officials reminding people to get their pets secured.
Two dog attacks happened on Saturday morning when a woman's dog was attacked by three pit bulls. The owner of the dog under attack grabbed her dog, and the three dogs subsequently turned on her and attacked her. The woman had to go to the hospital for her injuries, while her dog had to be euthanized. Authorities say that about 10 minutes later, another woman was attacked in a nearby neighborhood by the same dogs. An individual driving by came to her aid, and both women were taken to the hospital by EMTs. Even though all 19 pit bulls involved in these attacks have been euthanized, criminal charges against the two owners are still possible. However, an investigation is still ongoing.
Our thoughts go out to the injured women and their loved ones.
