Detroit, MI (November 25, 2023) - An accident involving at least two drivers happened on a local highway on Saturday afternoon, November 25, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation, resulting in a handful of potential victim injuries.
At about 2:55 p.m., EMTs, police officers from the Detroit Police Department, and state troopers from the Michigan State Police arrived at the site of the incident. The right lanes and right shoulder on eastbound I-96 at Grand River were closed, according to the authorities, while police investigated the scene. Although the victims' present conditions are unclear, paramedics were also sent to the site of the collision to evaluate and treat any injuries. Any witnesses were urged to get in touch with the local police. DPD and MSP authorities are in charge of the accident investigation.
