Detroit, MI (November 24, 2023) - According to Chief James Harris of the Detroit Fire Department, a 72-year-old man was rescued from a home fire that occurred on Thursday morning, November 24. A house on McClellan Avenue in Detroit caught fire at around 8:00 a.m. in the morning. The victim was rescued by crews and sent to a nearby hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation, according to Harris. At this time, there is little information available about the cause of the blaze or whether any other residents were hurt since the fire is still being investigated. Officials are continuing their inquiry at this time.
