Detroit, MI (November 13, 2023) - After an accident on Monday afternoon, November 13, a local Detroit roadway was shut down.
The right lanes of eastbound Michigan Highway 5 were closed down due to the accident at roughly 3:50 p.m., according to troopers with the Michigan State Police. Multiple first responders reported to the scene shortly thereafter, just after the exit to 12 Mile Road. At least two drivers were involved, though it's unclear how the collision occurred.
First responders also arrived at the site, though it is unclear how severe the victims' injuries were or the current conditions of those involved. Local law enforcement in the Detroit area is continuing their investigation, but no new details have been published as of yet.
