Detroit, MI (November 7, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a crash involving multiple drivers that occurred along a roadway in Detroit on Tuesday, November 7.
The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on southbound Interstate 75 at 8 Mile Road. The accident scene was cordoned off once the Wayne County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived, and the area was eventually shut down after two passenger sedans collided.
Authorities did not release specific details about the crash's victims and their conditions, but emergency medical responders were sent to the scene to evaluate the victims and bring those seriously injured to the hospital.
Deputies and local law enforcement are interviewing potential witnesses and continuing to investigate.
