Detroit, MI (October 31, 2023) - The left and center lanes of westbound Interstate 94 were shut down by a multi-vehicle wreck on Tuesday, October 31, and the Detroit Police Department was called to the site of the crash to investigate.
According to a report from the Michigan Department of Transportation for Wayne County, the accident shut down multiple left lanes at the exit to Outer Drive. Just before 1:30 p.m., the Detroit Police Department and the Michigan State Police arrived at the site, just before the Outer exit ramp, to begin their investigation.
The Detroit Police Department also sought emergency medical help, as at least one person sustained injuries. However, it is presently unclear how many people were hurt.
Detectives from the DPD are completing their inquiry and looking for any witnesses who may have further information. No new information has been given since then.
