Detroit, MI (October 29, 2023) - After several drivers collided in a highway accident on Sunday, October 29, police restricted traffic to the right lanes of Michigan Highway 14 and requested backup from local paramedics.
A handful of Michigan state troopers arrived in the vicinity of M-14 and the Beck Road/Exit 18 ramp in Detroit at around 8:20 p.m. after receiving reports of the crash.
According to the police, at least one of the drivers was speeding as traffic slowed in the area, which caused the driver to collide with two or three other vehicles. Firefighters from Detroit and state troopers from Michigan were there for several hours, though the total number of injuries to the victims involved is unknown.
An investigation is active in the meantime.
