Detroit, MI (October 27, 2023) - After two drivers collided in a highway accident on Friday, October 27, police restricted traffic to the right lanes of Interstate 75.
A handful of Michigan state troopers arrived in the vicinity of southbound I-75 and the I-696 exit and ramp in Detroit at around 8:30 p.m. after receiving reports of the crash.
According to the police, at least one of the drivers was speeding as traffic slowed in the area, which caused the driver to collide with two or three other vehicles.
Firefighters from Detroit and state troopers from Michigan were there for several hours, though the total number of injuries to the victims involved is unknown. An investigation is active in the meantime.
