Detroit, MI (October 23, 2023) - Multiple right lanes on southbound Interstate 275 were shut down by a multi-vehicle wreck on Monday morning, October 23, and the Detroit Police Department was called to the site of the crash to investigate.
According to a report from the Michigan Department of Transportation for Oakland County, the accident shut down several left-hand lanes of the highway after Michigan Highway 5. Just before 11:30 a.m., the Detroit Police Department and the Michigan State Police arrived at the site to begin their investigation.
The Detroit Police Department also sought emergency medical help, as at least one person sustained injuries. However, it is presently unclear how many people were hurt.
Detectives from the DPD are completing their inquiry and looking for any witnesses who may have further information. No new information has been given since then.
