Grosse Pointe, MI - Woman Attacked By Dogs on Beaconsfield Ave

Grosse Pointe, MI (October 20, 2023) - A couple was mauled by two dogs while walking in Grosse Pointe Park on Friday morning, October 20, per authorities who responded to the scene.

A woman was bitten and had a cut on her leg, but she told officers that her husband fought off what authorities believe were pit bulls. The intersection of Beaconsfield Avenue and Charlevoix Street was the scene of the incident, which occurred at roughly 5:45 a.m.

The inquiry is still in progress, though officers have not released further details. Witnesses were asked to get in touch with the Grosse Pointe Police Department as soon as possible.
