Detroit, MI (October 17, 2023) - On Monday morning, October 16, at least two vehicles were involved in a multi-car wreck at Wyoming/Kentucky and Puritan in the greater Detroit area.
Authorities say that two sedans collided near the intersection and bus stop around 11:00 a.m. on Monday and that it appeared that at least one of the drivers fled the scene after the incident occurred. Some individuals were reportedly stuck in their vehicles and had to be extricated by local firefighters.
Detroit Fire and EMS units were en route, but it's not clear how many people were hurt as a result of the collision.
Troopers with the Michigan State Police assessed the scene, along with officers from the Detroit Police Department. However, officers are continuing to investigate at this time.
