Detroit, MI (October 15, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a crash involving multiple drivers that occurred along a highway in Detroit on Sunday morning, October 15.
The incident occurred around 5:00 a.m. on westbound I-96 after Davison Highway. The accident scene was cordoned off once the Wayne County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived, and both directions of the roadway were eventually shut down. However, authorities did not release specific details about the crash's victims and their conditions.
Although emergency medical responders were sent to the scene to evaluate the victims and bring those seriously injured to the hospital, it is unknown how severe their injuries or current conditions are.
Deputies and local law enforcement are now interviewing potential witnesses and continuing to investigate.
