Owosso, MI (October 7, 2023) - A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash on Tuesday night in Owosso, per reports from authorities, who released further details in connection with the incident on Thursday.
The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. near West Main Street and Lansing Street. Upon entering Lansing Street, a car and a motorcyclist collided in the intersection, according to officers with the Owosso Police Department.
The motorcyclist, identified only as a 26-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while two other people were sent to the emergency room at Memorial Healthcare in Owosso with less serious injuries.
The Owosso Police Department and a crash reconstructionist from the Michigan State Police are continuing to investigate at this time.
