Detroit, MI (September 18, 2023) - On Monday morning, September 18, officers with the Detroit Police Department responded to a multiple-vehicle accident on I-75 after receiving a crash alert and a complaint of injuries.
According to the Detroit Police Department and the Michigan Department of Transportation, the collision occurred around 11:30 a.m. on the southbound side of the highway at Outer Drive. After hearing reports of a collision involving two cars and a few victims, authorities shut down all except the left lanes of traffic and asked for reinforcements.
Paramedics treated all injured parties soon after the event, although it is unknown how they are faring now. The police investigation into the collision continues, and more information will be made public when it becomes available.
