Detroit, MI (September 15, 2023) - On Friday afternoon, September 15, a two-vehicle crash at a local intersection led to a handful of victim injuries.
During the later afternoon hours on Friday, it appears that at least two drivers collided at the juncture of the I-696 Service Drive in Madison Heights. Just before 5:30 p.m., Michigan State Patrol troopers and Macomb County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived to initiate an investigation. The incident took place after the driver of a maroon passenger sedan ran a red light and collided with a white SUV.
Although they were transported to the hospital, the injured victims' current conditions are unknown.
No new information has been presented to the public, though local officials say that their investigation continues.
