Detroit, MI (September 15, 2023) - An early-morning collision involving several drivers in the Detroit region on Friday, September 15, resulted in injuries, per local authorities.
At around 10:00 a.m., the apparent rear-end collision occurred on Highway 26 at Romeo Plank Road. Upon arrival, the Macomb County Sheriff's Office deputies discovered that the initial wreck may have led to a chain-reaction accident, which also forced one of the vehicles off the roadway.
In order to assist the injured victims, paramedics were sent to the collision scene. That said, no word on the severity of their injuries or current conditions was provided.
During the interim, the cause of the accident and related details have not been made public by the authorities. An investigation is still active.
