Detroit, MI (August 30, 2023) - In the Greater Detroit area, one vehicle was completely severed in two after being involved in a high-speed, wrong-way accident on I-696 on Monday.
The two-vehicle collision reportedly took place near Warren, just outside of Detroit. Troopers from the Michigan State Police have claimed that a driver traveling at speeds of over 100 miles per hour collided with another vehicle, causing the latter to break in two.
Two victims suffered injuries and were hospitalized, though their current conditions were not made available.
No other details were released, and officials are continuing their inquiry at this time.
