Detroit, MI (August 28, 2023) - Two drivers collided on a major interstate on Monday, August 28, in the greater Detroit region, presumably causing injuries to several people.
At around 1:20 p.m., all westbound lanes of Interstate 94 were closed after an accident occurred close to the exit for Mt. Elliott.
Preliminary investigations by the Wayne County sheriff's office suggest that at least two drivers were involved in the collision, while the causes of the incident are yet unclear. Furthermore, emergency medical technicians were called to the site of the collision to assess the victims' injuries, but no details were given as to the condition of any patients.
The authorities are still looking into what caused the crash and have not provided any new information.
