Detroit, MI (August 23, 2023) - On Wednesday afternoon, August 23, reports of an automobile collision involving injuries were received, prompting an urgent response from the Detroit Police Department.

The crash occurred on eastbound Interstate 96 after the Novi Road exit, according to an incident notification provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation. The Detroit Police Department and the Michigan State Police began their investigation at around 3:45 p.m.
