Detroit, MI (August 22, 2023) - A T-bone collision took place on Tuesday evening, August 22, in the greater Detroit area, leading to apparent victim injuries.
At around 6:30 p.m., officers with the Detroit Police Department were called to the intersection of Hall Road and Romeo Plank Road for reports of a two-car accident and subsequent rollover. Detroit police officers requested emergency support over the Macomb County scanner and notified Michigan State Police investigators of the incident.
It is unclear how many people were hurt, but paramedics were on standby to treat victims. Officers have not confirmed the details surrounding those involved, though initial reports suggest the driver of a white sedan T-boned a Jeep at the red light, leading to injuries to at least one of the motorists.
The DPD has asked that any other potential witnesses get in touch with them during their ongoing investigation.
The injured victims and their loved ones are in our thoughts.
