Detroit, MI (August 21, 2023) - A multi-vehicle accident happened on southbound Highway 23 in Michigan on Monday afternoon, August 21, according to Michigan Department of Transportation authorities, and a handful of people were assessed for injuries.
Fire rescue teams, police from Detroit, and Michigan State troopers arrived at the site of the collision around 4:50 p.m. According to the most recent reports made available by authorities, the exit near Michigan Highway 14 was blocked to the left lanes of traffic as officers conducted their investigation.
The current conditions of the persons involved are unclear, though paramedics were also dispatched quickly after the accident to treat any injuries.
