Detroit, MI (August 16, 2023) - Multiple vehicles collided on northbound Michigan Highway 39 on August 16, resulting in serious injuries, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
By 4:45 p.m., first responders, including EMTs, Detroit Police Department officers, and Michigan State Police troopers, had arrived. Police were allegedly investigating an allegation of several left lanes being restricted beyond the 7 Mile Road exit. Paramedics have been sent to the scene of the collision; however, it is yet unclear the extent of the victims' injuries.
The officials asked that any possible witnesses get in touch with them. The accident is now being investigated by DPD and MSP officials.
