Detroit, MI (August 15, 2023) - The Michigan Department of Transportation said that an accident involving many cars happened on southbound Interstate 75 at 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15. There may have been numerous injuries.
First responders, including paramedics and police officers from Detroit and Michigan State, showed up at the site at about 5:10 a.m. Multiple left and center lanes were reportedly halted after the Schaefer Highway exit as police conducted an on-site investigation, according to the authorities. The present circumstances of the persons involved are unclear; however, paramedics reacted quickly after the accident and are assessing and treating any injuries.
Anyone with information was requested to contact the local police. Meanwhile, the accident investigation is being handled by DPD and MSP personnel.
