Alpine Township, MI (August 11, 2023) - Authorities claim that late on Thursday night, August 10, in Alpine Township, a pedestrian was injured by a vehicle.
According to Kent County dispatchers, the accident occurred on Thursday night at about 11:00 p.m. in Alpine Township, north of Grand Rapids, close to the intersection of 6 Mile Road and Alpine Avenue NW.
Although there were reports of injuries, the severity of those injuries is not known. EMTs were also spotted at the scene and transferred the pedestrian to a local hospital, where their condition is also unknown.
Lane restrictions were in place as officials investigated and cleared the site. All lanes have since reopened, though officers with the Alpine Township Police Department are continuing their inquiry into the accident.
