Taylor, MI (July 31, 2023) - According to officers with the Taylor Police Department, an allegedly distracted driver crashed into another car early on Sunday morning, July 30, in Taylor.
Around 11:40 a.m., the 30-year-old man was traveling on I-94 eastbound near Telegraph Road when police say that he reached down for a cigarette. He collided with a Jeep as he looked up and then made a left-hand correction, rolled over several times, and ended up in the median ditch before crashing into a large light post before the westbound side of I-94.
