Detroit, MI - Car Accident with Injuries Occurs on I-75 at the Mackinac Bridge

Detroit, MI (July 31, 2023) - Detroit Police Department officers responded to an accident with numerous automobiles and injured people on Monday afternoon, July 31.

At 12:50 p.m., the Michigan Department of Transportation issued an incident alert reporting an accident on northbound Interstate 75 near the Mackinac Bridge.

Local emergency medical services were quickly deployed by the Detroit Police Department. Although paramedics evaluated all those involved, the exact number of casualties remains unclear.
