Detroit, MI (July 29, 2023) - On Saturday, July 29, Detroit PD officers were at the scene of a multi-car crash on the westbound side of Interstate 96 that resulted in casualties.
According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, at least two drivers were involved in the collision that occurred at 7:30 a.m. About 10 minutes after the original alert, DPD officers cordoned off the area and called for emergency medical services, including local paramedics who were dispatched to the area near Davison. However, no information has been released on the drivers or their injuries.
The DPD has been responsible for conducting the accident investigation and plans to release new details to the public as they become available.
