Boston Twp, MI (July 16, 2023) - On Friday, July 14, one driver was hurt, and another was killed after a two-vehicle crash in Boston Township.

The fatal accident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. as an Orleans man was driving a Chevrolet Blazer. The man apparently failed to yield at a stop sign at the corner of Morrison Lake Gardens and Portland Road. The Blazer collided with a GMC Sierra.

The driver of the Chevy was transported to Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids, where he was later pronounced dead, and the driver of the GMC was taken to Spectrum Pennock Hospital in Hastings for treatment.

Local authorities are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
