Every day, negligent drivers cause fatal car accidents. Rollover collisions are some of the most devastating crashes, contributing to thousands of deaths per year. Rollover crashes can happen when motorists are intoxicated or distracted, nodding off behind the wheel and driving too aggressively. One of the main factors contributing to vehicle rollovers is alcohol. Alcohol impairs a variety of crucial driving abilities needed to safely operate a passenger car. When a car flips over onto its side or completely overturns, it is known as a rollover accident. There are two types of rollover accidents, tripped rollovers and untripped rollovers, and both can cause serious injuries to those involved. If you or a loved one has ever been hurt in a rollover accident, you are aware of how serious the resulting injuries can be. Rollover crash victims often require lengthy hospital stays and long-term rehabilitation, and recovery can be expensive.
