Warren, MI - All Lanes Closed on I-696 Due to Injury Collision at Groesbeck Hwy

Warren, MI (July 10, 2023) - There were reported injuries after a serious car accident in the Warren area on Monday, July 10. 

At around 12 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene on Interstate 696 WB near Groesbeck Highway. All westbound lanes were closed while emergency responders were present. The injured parties were provided treatment before being transferred to local hospitals for additional treatment. 

No further updates have been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
