White Pigeon, MI (July 2, 2023) - On Friday, June 30, two women were killed after a crash involving a teen driver in White Pigeon.

The fatal accident was reported on Indian Prarie Road at around 10:30 p.m. It was reported that a 19-year-old from LaGrange County was attempting to pass a vehicle in a no-pass zone. The teen hit the other car which caused it to leave the road and crash into a tree.

A 29-year-old woman in the car was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 27-year-old woman was airlifted to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

The at-fault driver was arrested and is facing several charges.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is in progress.
