Kentwood, MI (July 2, 2023) - A Grand Rapids man was tragically killed while riding a motorcycle in Kentwood on Saturday, July 1.

The fatal accident was reported at the intersection of 52nd Street and Davison Avenue at around 2:05 a.m. A 29-year-old Grand Rapids man was on a motorcycle when he was hit by an SUV.

The victim was treated at the scene before being transported to a local hospital. He later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.

An ongoing investigation into the deadly motorcycle crash is underway.
