Allendale Charter Twp, MI (July 2, 2023) - On Saturday, July 1, a Fruitport man was hurt after a vehicle entered his path in Allendale Charter Township.
The 24-year-old victim was traveling eastbound on a 2021 Yamaha at the intersection of Warren Street and 72nd Avenue when a Subaru Crosstrek driven by a 47-year-old Allendale Township man made a left turn into his path. The two vehicles collided at around 10 p.m. that evening.
The rider was transported to a Grand Rapids-area hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. The driver was also hurt in the accident.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
