Emerson Twp, MI (July 1, 2023) - A Philadelphia man was tragically killed, and others were hurt after a crash involving two semi-trucks in Emerson Township on Thursday, June 29.
The accident was first reported at the intersection of Lincoln and Wisner Roads at around 11:30 a.m. A semi-truck was headed eastbound when it collided with another 18-wheeler. The 42-year-old man driving the first semi suffered fatal injuries in the accident.
The driver and passenger of the other semi sustained undisclosed injuries. They were treated by emergency teams at the scene and transported for further medical care at area hospitals. No additional information has been provided.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
