Galesburg, MI (June 28, 2023) - A man was killed after being struck by a pickup truck in the Galesburg area on Tuesday, June 27.

The fatal crash was reported at the intersection of M-96 and 35th Street as the 77-year-old victim was traveling on foot near the scene. He was hit by the oncoming vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. The driver was not hurt in the accident.

The identity of the deceased party has not been determined.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is in progress.
