Macomb Twp, MI (June 27, 2023) - A man in Macomb Township was killed after he was hit by two vehicles on Sunday morning, June 25.

The deadly accident occurred at the intersection of Gratiot Avenue and Abington Circle at around 5 a.m. A 44-year-old Roseville man was walking near the scene when he was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

The driver remained at the scene and contacted authorities. However, the victim was then hit again by a Ford Taurus. Both drivers were present when emergency responders arrived.

The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The identity of the deceased has been withheld.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
