Butman Twp, MI (June 27, 2023) - On Friday, June 23, an Amish woman suffered serious injuries after her buggy was involved in a car accident in Butman Township.
The accident took place at around 4:45 p.m. at the corner of Wirtz and Shell Roads. A 54-year-old woman and her husband were riding in a buggy when she was hit from behind by a Chevrolet Trailblazer. The injured woman sustained critical injuries and was transported to Beaumont Hospital in Detroit for treatment.
The 80-year-old National City driver was not injured in the accident. The victim’s husband was uninjured and accompanied his wife to the hospital. No updates on her condition have been provided at this time.
