Penn Twp, MI (June 25, 2023) - There were multiple injuries reported after an accident involving an off-road vehicle in Penn Township on Saturday night, June 24.
At around 8:30 p.m., the accident was first reported at the 16000 block of Donnell Lake Street. Local sources indicated that a 34-year-old Vandalia man was operating the vehicle when he lost control rounding a curve. The all-terrain vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree.
A 30-year-old Indiana man who was a passenger on the vehicle was hospitalized for treatment. Two other passengers were treated at the scene.
Alcohol is believed to have played a role in the accident.
Local authorities are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
