Georgetown Twp, MI (June 24, 2023) - On Friday, June 23, a Hudsonville woman suffered serious injuries after being hit by a motor vehicle in Georgetown Township.
At around 12:20 p.m., the 64-year-old woman was crossing at the intersection of Baldwin Street and 36h Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle driven by a 58-year-old man. The driver was reportedly waiting at a red light when he turned and hit the woman.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition. No updates on her condition have been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
