Detroit, MI (June 24, 2023) - There were multiple injuries reported after a fiery crash involving a tanker truck in Detroit on Friday, June 23.
The accident was reported on Interstate 75 near Warren Avenue at around 5 p.m. Three vehicles collided at the scene. The accident occurred when a 27-year-old was traveling northbound when they lost control and crashed into the semi-truck. This caused the semi to overturn.
The tanker was hauling 10,000 gallons of fuel and caught fire. The at-fault driver then hit another vehicle before their car overturned. A total of seven people were hospitalized, and three others were also injured in the crash.
