Little Twp, MI (June 22, 2023) - An Oden man was killed after being hit while riding a motorcycle in Little Township on Tuesday, June 20.
The fatal crash occurred on US-31 near North County Road. Local sources revealed that a 68-year-old Oden man was traveling westbound on a 1997 Honda Motorcycle when he was hit from behind by a 55-year-old Alanson woman driving a 2011 Subaru Outback near the Oden Fish Hatchery.
The injured rider was transported to McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The identities of the involved parties have been withheld, and no additional information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal crash is in progress.
