Paw Paw, MI - Passenger Killed after Jeep Rear-Ends Semi on I-94 near M-51
Paw Paw, MI (June 16, 2023) - One person was killed and another injured after a two-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler in the Paw Paw area on Tuesday night, June 13.
The accident was reported on Interstate 94 EB near the overpass for M-51. A semi-truck was stopped on the interstate when it was rear-ended by a Jeep driven by a 20-year-old Benton Harbor man. The driver was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
A passenger in the vehicle, a 19-year-old woman, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is in progress.
