Muskegon, MI (June 16, 2023) - Several people were hurt, including two state troopers, after a high-speed chase resulted in a crash in Muskegon on Thursday night, June 15.
The accident was reported at the corner of Peck Street and Holbrook Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. It was reported that officials attempted to pull over a vehicle in Kent County that had been reported stolen. The driver did not stop and a chase ensued.
A second police cruiser was dispatched, and the suspect driver collide with the second vehicle. Two troopers inside the cruiser, including several people inside the stolen vehicle, were injured and hospitalized.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
