Mecosta Twp, MI (June 13, 2023) - There were multiple injuries after a 29-year-old man fell asleep while driving in Mecosta Township on Saturday, June 10.
The accident was reported on US-131 near mile marker 134 at around 3:22 p.m. The man was headed northbound when he dozed off. His car left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The driver and other passengers were treated at the scene by responding paramedics. No additional information has been provided at this time.
