Beaver Creek Twp, MI (June 13, 2023) - Two people were killed, and another was injured after a head-on collision in Beaver Creek Township.
On Saturday, June 10, the fatal accident took place on N. Higgins Lake Drive at around 11:30 a.m. A Jeep and a Ford reportedly crashed head-on at the scene. The driver of the Ford was found by emergency responders and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep and her passenger was hospitalized. The passenger later succumbed to her injuries. It is believed that alcohol was a factor in the deadly accident.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal crash is in progress.
