Pavilion Twp, MI (June 12, 2023) - On Saturday night, June 10, a teenager was killed in a rollover crash in Pavilion Township.
The accident involved a single vehicle and was reported at the intersection of R Avenue and 29th Street at around 9:30 p.m. The car was traveling eastbound when it left the roadway and crashed into a tree. Both occupants had to be extricated by emergency responders.
The 18-year-old Portage resident was hospitalized in critical condition, and a 17-year-old from Kalamazoo was killed in the accident. No additional information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal crash is in progress.
